The Cultural Orientation Framework
The cultural Orientations Framework (COF) Assessment Questionnaire is based on the research of Philippe Rosinski described in Coaching Across Cultures (2003).
The Cultural Orientations Framework allows you to understand individual and group cultural orientations. Cultural orientations are preferences and inclinations to think, act, and feel that are culturally determined. COF includes seven types of orientations: sense of power and responsibility, time management approaches, definitions of identity and purpose, organizational arrangements, notions of territory and boundaries, communication patterns, and modes of thinking.
When several cultures are involved in the team process, the COF offers you a systematic approach for clarifying the nature of cultural differences as well as similarities. It allows you to take advantage of diversity to create a unique team culture and ensure performance as well as fulfilment.
It takes about 30 minutes to complete the questionnaire on line.
